Twilight Cinema Hits Wellington
Twilight Cinema Hits Wellington
This summer *Twilight Cinema* a commercial outdoor cinema operation illuminates the night skies of Wellington.
Think picnic hampers, beanbags and blankets. Think top quality pre show entertainment. Think Movies
That is right; Twilight Cinema is taking you out of the multiplex and onto the grass!
To launch the 2007 season we suggest you get out your pom pom socks, start revving your TBird, change your name to Sandra Dee and get down to *Waitangi Park* on the *26th of January from 8pm* for a free screening of the cult classic *Grease.*
This is your chance to see a pre scientologist John Travolta fawning over a truly foxy Olivia Newton John, outside, on the big screen, for free!
Twilight Cinema is no one hit wonder, every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night from the 1st* *February* Hataitai Park Velodrome* becomes Twilight Cinema's movie HQ.
Twilight Cinema's 2007 programme has something for everyone.
If comedy is your thing, cult hits *Napoleon Dynamite* and *Little Miss Sunshine* are sure to have you chuckling into your Kool-Aid.
Audrey Hepburn stars in the classic *Breakfast at Tiffany's*, go to hell in high heels with Meryl Streep in *The Devil Wears Prada*, bust out your dance moves for *Dave Chapelle's Block Party* and if your looking for a slice of heaven don't miss the special screening of the Footrot flats classic *A Dog's Tale*.
Can't get to Glastonbury this year? Don't worry Twilight Cinema has scored the rights to screen Julien Temple's brilliant documentary, *Glastonbury*.
If you are after a big night out for the little people, warp them up warm, and check out recent release animations including *Over the Hedge*.
Perfect for a night out with your mates, a date or family outing *Twilight Cinema* is more than a movie, it is a great night out. Arrive early to secure your position on the grass, enjoy the pre show entertainment, savour the delicious treats on offer and as the sun sets crack open a bottle of the good stuff.
