Final road sealing works
at MacKays Crossing
Transit New Zealand is advising motorists that traffic through the MacKays Crossing Overbridge Project will be affected by final road sealing works over the next week.
Transit project manager Terry McGavin says during the final phase of construction traffic will be diverted onto newly sealed and unsealed sections of road.
New traffic routes will be clearly marked with extensive traffic management and reduced speed limits will be in place.
Mr McGavin asks motorists to pay close attention to the road works and speed restrictions, which take effect from 8am tomorrow.
