Mungavin interchange resurfacing
Transit New Zealand advises the public that it will be resurfacing a section of State Highway 1 between Whitford Brown and the Mungavin interchange this week.
Transit Highways Superintendent Reuben Pokiha says the resurfacing work will be conducted at night for a week from Wednesday, March 28 on this section of SH1.
The work will be done at night to minimise the impact to road users. The public are advised to take care at this point on SH1 during this time.
The work is expected to be finished before the Easter weekend break, weather permitting. Transit apologises for any inconvenience in advance.
