Cmj Traffic Bulletin: Sunday 22 April Until Thursday 26 April
Transit New Zealand would like to advise motorists of proposed closures on the Central Motorway Junction over the next week for installation of Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) and repair work.
Full motorway closures:
Sunday 22, Monday 23 and Thursday 26 April – CLOSED – overnight from 9pm until 5am the following morning for planting:
• Southern Motorway (SH1) between Cook St off-ramp and Hobson St on-ramp southbound
Sunday 22, Monday 23 and Thursday 26 April – CLOSED – overnight from 10.30pm until 5.30am the following morning for paving work:
• Southern Motorway (SH1) between Symonds/Port/Wellesley off-ramp and Wellington St on-ramp
Ramp and link closures:
Sunday 22 and Monday 23 April – CLOSED – overnight from 9pm until 5am the following morning for paving work:
• Northwestern Motorway (SH16) eastbound links to Port and Southern Motorway (SH1) southbound
Sunday 22 and Monday 23 April – CLOSED – overnight from 12.30pm until 5am the following morning for paving work:
• Northwestern Motorway (SH16) eastbound at Newton Rd off-ramp including Nelson St off-ramp and Northern Motorway (SH1) northbound off-ramp
Sunday 22, Monday 23 and Thursday 26 April – CLOSED – overnight from 10.30pm until 5.30am the following morning for paving work:
• Southern Motorway (SH1) to Nelson St off-ramp citybound
• Southern Motorway (SH1) northbound link to Northwestern Motorway (SH16) westbound
Thursday 26 April – CLOSED – overnight from 12.30pm until 5am on Friday for installation of signage:
• Northwestern Motorway (SH16) eastbound off-ramp to Nelson Street
• Northwestern Motorway (SH16) eastbound off-ramp to Northern Motorway (SH1) northbound
During these times motorists are requested to follow the signposted detours while the closures are in operation.
Transit New Zealand regrets any inconvenience caused.
In the event of inclement weather, the closures will be postponed to the next fine evening.
