CMJ traffic bulletin: Sunday 6 May until Thursday 10 May
Transit New Zealand would like to advise motorists of proposed closures on the Central Motorway Junction over the next week for installation of Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) and repair work.
Full motorway closures:
Sunday 6 and
Monday 7 May - CLOSED - overnight from 9.30pm until 5am the
following morning for repair work:
. Southern
Motorway (SH1) between Cook St off-ramp and Hobson St
on-ramp southbound
Ramp and link closures:
Sunday 6 and
Monday 7 May - CLOSED - overnight from 11pm until 5am the
following morning for repair work:
. Hobson St
on-ramp to Northwestern Motorway (SH16) westbound
Sunday 6
May - CLOSED - overnight from 9pm until 5am on Monday for
paving:
. Northwestern Motorway (SH16) eastbound
at Newton Rd off-ramp
Monday 7 and Tuesday 8 May - CLOSED
- overnight from 9pm until 5am the following morning for
repair work:
. Northwestern Motorway (SH16)
eastbound links to Port and Southern Motorway (SH1)
southbound
During these times motorists are requested to follow the signposted detours while the closures are in operation.
Transit New Zealand regrets any inconvenience caused.
In the event of inclement weather, the closures will be postponed to the next fine evening.
