H2O Xtream – best attendance number ever!

H2O Xtream has recorded its best result for attendance ever, since opening in 1996. A phenomenal total of 250,781 people (not including spectators) visited from 1 July 2006 – 30 June 2007.

Continuous weeks of record numbers and the ever increasing popularity of the Wavebreakers Swim School has helped ensure this success.

This, combined with the popularity of the waves, river ride and Teen Time plus the huge success of Darkness Falls and the other two slides has meant that H2O Xtream had remained a number one regional attraction.

A total of 72,705 slide passes were sold – proving that the slides continue to be a favourite attraction.

“Upper Hutt City Councils commitment to the facility and the vision of H2O Xtream being a regional attraction has certainly paid dividends” says Manager, Alison Law “thank you to the regular customers from Upper Hutt, we enjoy being able to offer our fantastic facility to you”. Alison goes on to say “acknowledgement must be made to the wonderful team of staff – this result would not have been possible without them”.
