ADVISORY
17 July 2007
Transit to close SH1 Aotea
Quay on and off-ramps for maintenance overnight
Transit New Zealand will be temporarily closing the Aotea Quay on and off-ramps overnight on Thursday (19 July).
This closure, to occur after midnight on Thursday, will allow Transit’s contractors to conduct maintenance work on the ramps. The closures will be for approximately 2 hours each.
Traffic wanting to use the ramps will be directed to the next entry or exit to the state highway and electronic message boards will be in place to advise motorists ahead of these points.
Little disruption is expected due to the nature of the work and the time it will take place.
Transit apologises for any inconvenience in advance and thanks the public for their patience while this maintenance work takes place.
