Busway Traffic Bulletin: Saturday 1 to Friday 7 September
Transit New Zealand advises motorists of next week’s proposed closures for work on State Highway 1 for Northern Busway construction (weather permitting).
ONEWA RD Tuesday 4 – Thursday 6 September SH1 Onewa Rd northbound off-ramp closed each night from 10pm until 5am the following morning for barrier movements. Diversion via Stafford Rd off-ramp or Esmonde Rd off-ramp and College Rd
NORTHCOTE RD Sunday 2 September SH1 Northcote Rd southbound on-ramp closed from 9pm until 5am the following morning for barrier modification. This closure will only take place if weather postpones earlier planned works Diversion via Esmonde Rd southbound on-ramp
TRISTRAM AVE Sunday 2 - Thursday 6 September SH1 Tristram Ave southbound off-ramp closed each night from 9pm until 5am the following morning for paving works and landscaping. Diversion via Northcote Rd southbound off-ramp
Monday 3 – Thursday 6 September SH1 Tristram Ave southbound on-ramp closed each night from 9pm until 5am the following morning for pavement widening. Diversion via Northcote Rd southbound on-ramp
CONSTELLATION DR – TRISTRAM AVE Sunday 2 September SH1 southbound motorway lanes between Constellation Drive and Tristram Ave closed from 10pm until 5am the following morning for barrier movement and pavement works. Constellation Dr southbound on-ramp will also be closed at the same time Diversion via Tristram Ave southbound on-ramp Contingency closure – Monday 3 September
The above include contingency dates and diversion routes, which are subject to change. Work planned for adjacent junctions will be reviewed daily to ensure that no two consecutive overbridges or interchanges are closed at the same time, and the correct diversions are in place.
Road users are requested to use the signposted detours whilst the closures are in operation.
