Inspiring Women Events for Rodney
Some of New
Zealand’s best-known women will be giving a series of
inspirational talks across Rodney over the next few
weeks.
As part of the Inspiring Women series hosted by sportswoman Allison Roe and mayoral candidate Alan Curtis, speakers will include:
• Annabelle White – TV’s

• Lindsey Dawson – former editor of
Next, More & Grace magazines
• Ilona Rogers – one of
New Zealand’s favourite actresses
• Tina Cross –
singer and performer extraordinaire
• Michele A’Court
– comedienne & entertainer
Three other speakers include Rodney residents:

• Leigh Jenden – Rodney business innovator

The women will be telling the inspiring stories of their journey to success at coffee mornings held at cafes in Waimaukau, Orewa and Matakana. Each coffee morning will feature three speakers from the above list.
All are welcome to attend the talks. A $10 cover charge will pay for fabulous coffee and morning tea and raise funds for local charities in each area talks are held.
