Helene Ritchie Mayoral Campaign Goes Live

PRESS STATEMENT 10 September 07

Helene Ritchie Mayoral Campaign Goes Live

Wellington Mayoral Candidate Helene Ritchie is inviting the whole of Wellington to the launch of her campaign this Thursday September 13 at 7 15 a.m.
But it is a launch with a difference. The Helene Ritchie mayoral campaign goes live this Thursday September 13.

“I had to think about how I could invite everybody in Wellington to the launch…. I want them all to come and to join me in this celebration of democracy. The problem was I did not have enough space for the 188, 400 people who live in Wellington.

So we decided on an internet launch.

The launch will be held on the internet: www.heleneritchie.org.nz.
Everyone can come.
Everyone can come when it suits them.
They can wear what they like –anything or nothing.
They can eat and drink what they like most
Make themselves entirely comfortable
Have their own private celebration with pavlova and balloons and champagne, or just a cup of tea.
Have some friends over to view and talk about it
Have fun
Sing laugh and dance
Not waste petrol getting there
Produce minimal carbon emissions
It’s open house: They can visit the website as often as they want.

www.heleneritchie.org.nz: Goes live this Thursday, and so does the HELENE RITCHIE mayoral Campaign with it.
