SH1 Terrace Tunnel closure
Transit would like to inform motorists that the Terrace Tunnel on SH1 will be closed to all traffic overnight tomorrow night (Wednesday 3 October) for maintenance.
The Terrace Tunnel will be closed from 10.30pm to 5.00am while maintenance work is carried out. Preparatory work to close the tunnel will start from approximately 8.30pm.
Motorists are advised to take an alternative route tomorrow night. Electronic message signs will be placed before the works to alert motorists of the closure and identify alternative routes.
The Terrace Tunnel will be fully reopened by 5.30am on 4 October.
