Busway Traffic Bulletin: Saturday 19 –Friday 25 January
Transit New Zealand advises motorists of next week’s proposed closures for work on State Highway 1 for Northern Busway construction (weather permitting).
ESMONDE RD Sunday 20 January (contingency 21 & 22 January) Esmonde Rd northbound off-ramp closed 10pm – 5am for line marking and road works.
Diversion via Onewa Rd northbound off-ramp.
Sunday 20 January (contingency 21 & 22 January) Esmonde Rd eastbound between Akoranga Dr off-ramp and Fred Thomas Drive closed overnight from 10pm until 5am the following morning for road works.
- Diversion via Northcote Rd.
Monday 21 January (contingency 22 & 24 January) Esmonde Rd westbound closed overnight from 10pm until 5am the following morning for road works.
- Diversion via Northcote Rd.
Wednesday 23 January (contingency 24 January) Akoranga Dr northbound on-ramp and Esmonde Rd southbound on-ramp closed overnight from 10pm until 5am the following morning for line marking and road works.
- Diversion via Northcote Rd.
Wednesday 23 January (contingency 24 January) Esmonde Rd southbound off-ramp closed overnight from 10pm until 5am the following morning for line marking and road works.
- Diversion via Northcote Rd southbound off-ramp.
CONSTELLATION DR Sunday 20 January (contingency 21 - 23 January) Constellation Dr westbound between the southbound on-ramp and northbound off-ramp closed overnight from 10pm until 5am the following morning for road works.
- Constellation Dr southbound on-ramp will also be closed.
- Diversion via Sunset Rd.
The above include contingency dates and diversion routes, which are subject to change. Work planned for adjacent junctions will be reviewed daily to ensure that no two consecutive overbridges or interchanges are closed at the same time, and the correct diversions are in place.
Road users are requested to use the signposted detours whilst the closures are in operation.
