Rimutaka Trust Upper Hutt Teddy Bears’ Picnic

Saturday 16th February – Harcourt Park

Whether they are large or small, short or tall, mean and scary or brown and hairy, teddy bears from all over Upper Hutt will be making their way to Harcourt Park from 2.00pm till 5.00pm on Saturday 16 February for the Rimutaka trust Upper Hutt Teddy Bears’ Picnic.

Prepare to be amazed and entertained by the brand new line up of acts including the extremely talented magician Nigel Kennedy The Varity dance centre will amaze you with there cool dance routines whilst the Extreme Dance Company will dance up a storm with the Weebops and Cheerleading displays.

The excitement is not limited to the stage as around Harcourt Park there will be bouncy castles, the Upper Hutt Mobile Library (bring along your library card for books, CDs and DVDs) plus a special guest appearance from book character Clifford the big red Dog. There will also be raffles, food stalls and tea and coffee will be available to purchase.

From 2.00pm onwards you can register your teddy for $2 and be in to win some fantastic prizes. The judging of the bears commences at 4.45pm where the winning bears from the ten different categories will be announced.

This event sponsored by The Rimutaka Trust Upper Hutt is co-organised with the Rimutaka Kindergarten Association, who receive all proceeds from the day to help continue providing great services to our city’s children.
