Transit New Zealand advises motorists of next week’s proposed closures for work on State Highway 1.

FULL MOTORWAY CLOSURES

Sunday 2 March (contingency 3 - 5 March)

SH1 northbound motorway between Onewa Rd off-ramp and Onewa Rd on-ramp closed overnight from 11pm until 5am the following morning for beam placement.

• Diversion off the motorway via Onewa Rd northbound off-ramp and back on at Onewa Rd northbound on-ramp

Tuesday 4 March - Wednesday 5 March (contingency 6 March)

SH1 southbound motorway between Northcote Rd and Onewa Rd closed each night from 11pm until 5am the following morning for beam placement.

• Northcote Rd southbound on-ramp and Esmonde Rd southbound on-ramp will also be closed

• Diversion off the motorway via Northcote Rd southbound off-ramp to Northcote Rd, Lake Rd and back on at Onewa Rd southbound on-ramp

RAMP CLOSURES

TRISTRAM RD

Sunday 2 March - Monday 3 March (contingency 4 March)

SH1 Tristram Ave southbound on-ramp closed each night from 10pm until 5am for chipseal work.

• Diversion via Northcote Rd southbound on-ramp

NORTHCOTE RD

Sunday 2 March (contingency 3 - 4 March)

SH1 Northcote Rd southbound off-ramp closed overnight from 10pm until 5am for chipseal work.

• Diversion via Esmonde Rd southbound off-ramp

The above include contingency dates and diversion routes, which are subject to change. Work planned for adjacent junctions will be reviewed daily to ensure that no two consecutive overbridges or interchanges are closed at the same time, and the correct diversions are in place.

Road users are requested to use the signposted detours whilst the closures are in operation.

Transit New Zealand apologises for any inconvenience caused.
