Announcement of Chairman
Development West Coast has a new Chairman. Mr Brian Roche was elected unopposed at a special meeting of Trustees this afternoon.
Former Chairman Frank Dooley officially stood down prior to the special meeting.
Mr Roche was appointed as an independent Trustee by Finance Minister Mr Cullen in February.
He has wide experience in governance, management and operation of public sector entities and has been retained as an adviser to a number of Prime Ministers and Ministers of the Crown. Mr Roche has also held senior posts in Housing New Zealand and the Crown Company Monitoring and Advisory Unit at Treasury.
