TRAFFIC BULLETIN: SATURDAY 22 – FRIDAY 28 MARCH 08

Transit New Zealandadvises motorists of next week’s proposed closures for work on State Highway 1. 

FULL MOTORWAY CLOSURE

Tuesday 25 and Wednesday 26 March(contingency 27 March)

All motorway lanes southbound between Constellation Dr and Tristram Aveclosed each night from 10pm until 5am the following morning for chip sealing and line marking work. 

·       Constellation Dr southbound on-ramp and Tristram Avesouthbound off-ramp will also be closed

·       Diversion via Target Rdor East Coast Rdto Tristram Ave

ONEWA RD

Tuesday 25 and Wednesday 26 March(contingency 27 March)

Onewa Rdsouthbound on-ramp closed each night from 10pm until 5am the following morning for beam placement work.

·       Diversion via Northcote Rdsouthbound on-ramp

The above include contingency dates and diversion routes, which are subject to change.  Work planned for adjacent junctions will be reviewed daily to ensure that no two consecutive overbridges or interchanges are closed at the same time, and the correct diversions are in place.

Road users are requested to use the signposted detours whilst the closures are in operation.
