Santa Claus Arrives By Polar Express In Glen Innes On 13th Of December.

At 10 am, Santa arrives at the northern end of town ( near NOSH) and around 10.30 he will alight his sleigh in Mayfair Place.
The Avaiki Tavarianga Nui drummers and dancers will give him a warm ‘ Pasifika’ welcome.
There are bouncy castles, face painters, balloons, giveaways until 1 pm.

A wonderful Christmas display is in the Sanctuary Church on Mayfair
( number 10). This is open daily.

Children are asked to dress up as one of Santa’s little helper and fairies. The most creative costumes can win family passes to Kelly Tarlton’s and the Auckland Zoo.

From 13 to 24 the December, Santa will be visiting Glen Innes daily ( except Sundays).
His visiting hours at the Sanctuary are:
Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10 am to 1 pm. Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 – 4 pm.

Saturday 20 December Mayfair Place hosts a Christmas Community Market with lots of handmade Christmas goodies: unique gifts at a reasonable price.
Lots of entertainment & activities for everyone like crafts and card making..

Especially for the children:

The Little Kaboose Miniature Train offers FREE rides around the town centre on Monday 22, Tuesday 23 and Wednesday 24 December from 11 to 2 pm. There will be bouncy castles, face painting and music for a fun start to the summer holidays!

Shop in Glen Innes and you can win one of ten Christmas Stocking Surprises ranging from $ 250 cash, $ 100 Petrol vouchers or a traditional smoked Christmas Ham from Avon’s!
