Khandallah Village Fair
Press Release

Khandallah
Village Fair
Sunday 14 December 2008, 10am-3pm, Ganges
Road
The annual Khandallah Village Fair will be held on Sunday 14 December 2008, between the hours of 10am – 3pm, at Khandallah’s shopping village in Ganges Road.
The Khandallah Village Fair is noted as having the highest quality crafts of any market event in Wellington. All goods are made locally by the sellers, or must prove some similar authentic regional connection.
Both stallholders and attending public express a high degree of satisfaction with this community event, due to the high quality of goods, and the small scale of the site and event. Stallholders and buyers can discuss and inspect the products in detail, and follow-up sales relationships are common.
The Fair also features a range of quality foods, both take-away and gourmet packaged. There is a music stage with local and regional performers; and facepainting and activities for the kids.
Local 3-piece all-women popstars Avidiva will be the performance centre-piece this year, and will include in their show a Christmas-themed set of songs.
Any cancellations will be available on 384-1998 from 7am on that day.
Further information, and stall & performers’ applications, are available from the website and address below.
