MAXX to the Mission Bay Jazz and Blues Streetfest
The streets
of Mission Bay will be filled with the sound of Jazz and
Blues from 6pm this Saturday evening, as the annual Mission
Bay Jazz and Blues Streetfest takes place. Aucklanders
heading to the event can avoid parking hassles and travel
the easy way by taking public transport to and from the
event.
Special buses will depart from Britomart (Stop D13, Tyler Street) to Mission Bay every fifteen minutes from 5pm onwards. Return services to Britomart will depart from outside Burger King in Mission Bay every fifteen minutes from 9pm.
Scheduled bus services along Tamaki Drive will continue to operate to their regular timetables and normal fares apply.
A continuous bus service will also be in operation between Selwyn College and Mission Bay, and will depart every fifteen minutes from 5pm. The fare is $2 each way.
If you are travelling from another location in the Auckland region, travel by bus train or ferry to connect with one of the bus services to Mission Bay, normal timetables and fares apply. Please ensure you leave plenty of time for your journey.
