Poetry Competition
Manukau Libraries, in conjunction with the Gadd Family, invite local poets to submit entries in the Bernard Gadd Memorial Poetry Competition. Now in its second year, the annual competition commemorates the late Manukau poet and continues his support of poetry in the city.
Entries, a maximum of three poems per entrant, are welcome from Manukau residents aged 13 years and over. Work submitted must be original and unpublished. The overall winner will receive a cash prize of $500.
Entry forms and conditions are available from all Manukau Libraries or can be downloaded from www.manukau-libraries.govt.nz
Closing date for entries is Friday, 10 July at 4pm. Winners will be announced at Howick Library on Friday, 24 July.
