Hoax Caller – Major Concern for West Auckland Hospice
A person introducing themselves as representing West Auckland Disabled Hospice is contacting individuals and businesses in the white pages of the West Auckland telephone directory, asking for cash donations.
West Auckland Hospice Chief Executive, Barbara Williams says, “Out of concern for our genuine supporters we’d like to assure the community that such calls are not being made from our staff. West Auckland Hospice is the only Hospice in the West and it is not our practice to phone people asking for cash donations. “
If anyone receives a call from West Auckland Disabled Hospice please ring Margaret Hudson, Fundraising Manager, on (09) 834 9752.
