Sanctuary Trust celebrates Conservation Week
Karori Sanctuary Trust celebrates Conservation Week 13 -20
Sept.
The theme of this year's Conservation Week
is Kia Mahia te Mahi - Get Involved. To celebrate, Karori
Sanctuary Trust is offering a special deal on Membership
so there's another great reason for Wellingtonians to get
involved in the Trust's incredible 500 year
journey!
Anyone signing up as a Member of the Trust
between 13 and 20 September will get a voucher for a 1 hour
guided tour valued at $28 in addition to their usual
benefits. It is a great way to get involved with a
groundbreaking conservation project that is making a real
difference to wildlife in Wellington.
Membership subscriptions are a vital source of funding for the Trust, which manages ZEALANDIA: The Karori Sanctuary Experience - a 225ha fenced wildlife safe haven 2km from central Wellington. The Trust already has the support of over 12,000 Members and 450 volunteers.
Members will receive a range of special benefits including unlimited free general admission; special invitations and offers; and the thrice-yearly magazine Kereru. Membership costs as little as $49 a year and makes a great gift.
