Finalists announced for Westpac Queenstown Business Excellence Awards

Finalists in the Westpac Queenstown Business Excellence Awards 2009 include a diverse variety of businesses representing the range of Queenstown’s business community across three business categories.

In the Small Business category, Artbay Gallery, D’or Hairstylists and Fluid will compete for top honours while Medrecruit, Queenstown Resort College and A Woman’s Touch Cleaning Service are in the running in the Medium Business category.  Three of Queenstown’s best known tourism and entertainment businesses, Skyline, NZSki and Good Group Ltd are finalists in the large business category.

Winners of each category will be put forward for the Supreme Award.

Queenstown Chamber of Commerce CEO, Ann Lockhart says the Awards this year are a true celebration of Queenstown business excellence, passion and success.

“The Awards are all about encouraging business excellence and recognizing those Queenstown businesses who have achieved success despite a tough economic environment.”

The winners of each category in the Westpac Queenstown Business Excellence Awards and the supreme winner will be announced at a gala function on Friday 27th November at the Millennium Hotel Queenstown.

MC Andrew Patterson, media personality and Radio Live Business Editor, will entertain and there will be a keynote speech from revered businessman Sir Tim Wallis whose long career has affected and benefited numerous Queenstown businesses.
