A protest at the New Zealand Stock Exchange (NZX) drew attention to the contribution of the New Zealand business to climate change. A sit-in occured, blocking the entrance to the building, and police arrested 9 activists. The protest featured 'Radical Cheerleaders', a samba band, and around 80 diverse protestors.

In a separate, related action, two activists, scaled the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) in Wellington. They occupied the building front for four hours between 7.15 and 11.30am, hanging a banner which read
"Got Climate Change?"
"Fonterror: 51% of NZ's climate emissions, Pollution of Lakes, Rivers and Streams, 100% Private Profit 0% Public Responsibility."
