Helicopter Transports Critically Injured Patient
Wellington Based Westpac Rescue Helicopter Transports A Critically Injured Patient From The Wairarapa
The Wellington Based Westpac Rescue Helicopter transported a Critically Injured patient with a Gun Shot Wound from just North of Carterton in the Wairarapa today 19th April 10 at approximately 1pm.
The Westpac rescue Helicopter responded to the location with a Wellington Free Ambulance Helicopter Paramedic onboard.
The Helicopter was able to land next to the patient where the local Ambulance and Police were treating the patient a 53yr old male from Carterton.
The patient was transported to Wellington Hospital Emergency Department where he is being treated for his injuries.
