Buckle Street closure on Anzac Day
Buckle Street closure on Anzac Day
The NZ Transport Agency advises motorists that Buckle Street will be closed between 10.00am and midday on Sunday 25 April to enable Anzac commemorations to take place.
NZTA Operations Manager Mark Owen says traffic from the city will be diverted down Cambridge Street and around the Basin, and traffic from the southern suburbs such as Newtown will be diverted via Taranaki Street.
“We thank motorists for their patience this Anzac Day as we work to accommodate this important event.”
Mr Owen says traffic management and electronic signage will be in place to help guide motorists. Delays are expected to be minimal.
