Update on Roading Conditions
Update on Roading Conditions
Monday, 26 April 2010
Drivers are being urged to be aware and careful on southern roads as surface flooding and high river levels are causing problems.
Southland District Council maintenance contractors are out monitoring the situation and are endeavouring to put warning signs on the worst-hit roads, but please be careful and drive to the conditions if you are travelling on roads around the district.
Roads that are closed by flooding around the Southland District this morning are:
Blackmount Redcliff Road CLOSED (The Key through to Weir road)
For details on State Highways please contact Opus.
Further updates will be made as details come in.
