Band together for summer music event
Music in Parks is a celebration of Auckland and New Zealand music and has become an institution on our city’s summer events calendar.
Each summer the 40-plus events showcase Auckland's creativity and talent, helped foster the local music scene and bring thousands of Aucklanders together.
From the Datsuns and Dimmer to jazz and opera, Music in Parks features a huge variety of artists – and we are always looking for more.
We are inviting expressions of interest from individuals or groups to perform in the 2011 Music in Parks programme, which returns next January and is set to be one of the best yet.
Interested artists should visit www.musicinparks.co.nz for more information on how to apply by 31 August.
