threesixty Chef’s Table to raise funds for charity

threesixty Queenstown diners can indulge in a fully hosted Chefs’ Table next month to help raise funds for The Salvation Army Give a family a break programme

The contemporary Queenstown restaurant located at Crowne Plaza Queenstown is to serve an exclusively-created five-course gourmet menu matched with New Zealand wines on four separate nights in September to directly benefit the charity. The offer is available for seats at one table hosted by a member of the Crowne Plaza Team.

The $99 price tag for the evening out is an ‘absolute bargain’ according to Crowne Plaza Queenstown General Manager Matt Anderson.

“Our Chefs’ Table Dinners will provide a tasty fundraiser and a great opportunity for Queenstown people to enjoy the superb skills of our Executive Chef Fabien Simon.”

The dinners are part of the hotel’s aim to raise $3000 for The Salvation Army’s Give a Family a Break campaign, designed to give disadvantaged Kiwis a holiday.

“The Salvation Army is the chosen associated charity of IHG New Zealand (which operates Crowne Plaza Queenstown). It is a fantastic charity to support and we are all very passionate about raising money to give people a holiday.”

The central Queenstown hotel, known as ‘the place to meet’ has been running a sausage sizzle and soup kitchen outside its Beach Street property each Thursday afternoon as part of the fundraising campaign.

“The people of Queenstown have been very generous so far with $800 raised through the weekly sausage sizzles and soup kitchens,” said Mr Anderson.

The sausage sizzle fundraisers will continue every Thursday (until September 30) at 4pm outside Crowne Plaza Queenstown on Beach Street.

Chefs’ Special Dinners take place on the 3rd, 10th, 17th & 24th of September. To book in advance and be in with a chance to win a night in a suite at the hotel call Nicole Wood 03 450 2670 or email marketing@crowneplazaqueenstown.co.nz

Crowne Plaza Queenstown also has a collection box at reception for those wanting to make a donation, no matter how big or small.
