Official statement from Super City mayoral candidate Colin Craig.

Afternoon all,

It looks like a good result for Len and I congratulate him on his success.

As a genuine independent campaigning against politically backed candidates it was a tough challenge especially given my business and other commitments.

I am really happy with the work of my team and the great support I have received. A special thanks to all those who voted for me.

I am pleased to have polled a respectable third especially given the focus on a two horse race.

For me it was always about people not politics and the many comments and letters I have received from supporters have been very encouraging and I am not ruling out standing for office in the future.
