“Christmas is a universally celebrated festival when the people participate by giving, sharing, loving and having a joyous time together with families, hapu and friends. It is also the time for well deserved holidays, reflection and chilling out at the beach after a hard year of work and day to day challenges” said Alton Shameem JP the New Zealander- Native Fijian Community Leader, Founder, Chairman and President of Fiji Club of New Zealand (FCNZ), Young Executive Club (YEC), All Ethnic Congress (AEC) and the New Zealand Association of Certified Public Accountants (NZACPA) in Takapuna, North shore, Auckland the City of Faith and Hope.
“On this auspicious Christmas Day, December 25th our Christian brothers and sisters believe that Lord Jesus Christ was born, and so too was the Founder and first Governor-General of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam (The Great Leader) Mohammed Ali Jinnah.
“Both Jesus Christ and Mohammed Ali Jinnah spread the message of love, peace, hope, faith, freedom, respect, tolerance, non-violence, equality, harmony, progress, happiness, life, prosperity and unity of humankind, as did Mahatma (Great Soul) Gandhi the Father of the Nation- India. Similarly, did other Prophets and great leaders like Dr. Martin Luther King, Ho Chi Minh, Te Whiti o Rongomai III, the first Labor Prime Ministers in Fiji and New Zealand, Dr Timoci Bavadra and Michael Joseph Savage respectively” said Alton Shameem JP the New Zealander-Fijian Civic, National and International Leader, Founder, Chairman and President of Fiji Club of New Zealand (FCNZ), Young Executive Club (YEC), All Ethnic Congress (AEC) and the New Zealand Association of Certified Public Accountants (NZACPA).
