Entries To Close In Dairy Awards
There are just a few days left before entries close in the 2011 New Zealand Dairy Industry Awards.
Entries in the New Zealand Sharemilker/Equity Farmer of the Year, Farm Manager of the Year and Dairy Trainee of the Year will close on Christmas Eve, December 24.
"It's a crazy time of year. As well as finishing the Christmas Shopping and preparing for family gatherings and holidays, people interested in entering the awards need to make sure they have done so before Santa visits," national convenor Chris Keeping says.
"Right now it might be just another job to do, but it could be the action that creates new opportunities for a rewarding 2011."
People can enter online at www.dairyindustryawards.co.nz.
The awards are supported by national sponsors Westpac, DairyNZ, Ecolab, Federated Farmers, Fonterra, Honda Motorcycles NZ, LIC, Meridian Energy, Ravensdown and RD1, along with industry partner Agriculture ITO.
About 420 people have already entered the awards and organisers are hopeful close to 500 will enter.
