$100,000 Richer and Cancer Free All in One Day

One lucky Manawatu winner has had two life changing moments in one day – being told they were cancer free and then winning $100,000 on Instant Kiwi’s Premium Gift Pack.

“It had been my first check up after my treatment had finished and I got the phone call in the morning to tell me that I was in remission.

“To celebrate I went to the store and treated myself to an Instant Kiwi ticket,” says the happy winner.

“It wasn’t till later in the afternoon that I got around to scratching the ticket and realised that I had won a prize,” says the winner.

“At first I thought I had won $5,000, and then I had another look and realised I had won $100,000.

“I’m still in shock, it’s an excellent feeling,” says the winner.

The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, is a regular Instant Kiwi player and had previously won a $500 prize on a similar ticket a few weeks ago.

“The past six months haven’t been easy as I’ve been so sick and having treatment,” says the winner.

“This has really uplifted my spirits and has come at such a good time for me.”

The winner plans on spending his winnings on a new motorbike and is considering having a small celebration for close friends and family.
