A terrible tragedy has hit our design community in Christchurch

A terrible tragedy has hit our design community in Christchurch. Words cannot convey the extent of the tragedy and on behalf of the Designers Institute all around NZ we extend our best wishes as you try to come to terms with this devastating event.

We also know as an absolute that the heart of our creative community will soon emerge again

As a gesture to help cope during the coming months we would like to waive for our Christchurch Members, Professional Members and Fellow Members 6 months of membership fees for 2011.

On April 7th 2011 we have a Designers Speak - Mixing it Up. We will now make this event one of uniting the community over beer and fish & chips and to bring some positive spirit to you all and a chance for us all come together.

In September 2010 we had many members offer space so again if there is anyway we can assist, not only the Insitute, but our creative community would be prepared to help.

The Designers Institute couldn’t exist without the support of our amazing sponsors.
