Visa Supports New Zealand Red Cross 2011 Christchurch Earthquake Appeal
Auckland, 28 February 2011 - In recognition of the devastating impact that the most recent earthquake has had on Christchurch and its surrounding areas, Visa will make a US$50,000 (NZ$66,597) donation to the New Zealand Red Cross 2011 Earthquake Appeal.
Speaking on behalf of Visa, New Zealand Country Manager Sean Preston said: "Our thoughts go out to everyone affected by the Christchurch earthquake. Now is the time for New Zealanders to band together to provide support to residents and businesses to ensure the rebuilding process gets underway."

Visa's Customer Assistance Centre is available to provide help with emergency card replacement or cash to cardholders whose cards are lost or missing as a result of the earthquake. The phone line is operational 24 hours a day on 0508 600 300.
