Boot Campers Get Fighting Fit for Charity
Boot Campers Get Fighting Fit for
Charity
Fitness Evolved donates
proceeds to a good cause
Leading Auckland Boot Camp company Fitness Evolved has pledged their profits to two nationwide charities in a one-off fundraising event. Boot Camp for a Cause promises to get recruits fighting fit while they support charitable organisations Look Good, Feel Better and Make a Wish this April.
The event, running in five locations across Auckland, is a six week programme focusing on strength, flexibility and cardio fitness. Fitness Evolved boot camps make full use of the parks they operate in and their surrounding terrain – turning hills, park benches, steps, and lampposts into training equipment.
As well as early starts and training rain or shine, Fitness Evolved has promised that there’ll be plenty of fun and games too.
“Boot Camp for a Cause is definitely going to put the fun in fundraising,” says Fitness Evolved Co-Founder, Danny Kettoola. “We’re looking forward to helping our recruits achieve their health and fitness goals while helping two important charities at the same time.”
Fitness Evolved’s Boot Camp for a Cause is hoping to raise over $20,000 for the charities.
“We’re hoping to raise over $10,000 for each
charity,” adds Kettoola. “Women’s cancer charity
Look Good, Feel Better and children’s wish-granting
organisation Make a Wish are both charities that help
Kiwis feel good – which is exactly what boot camps do.
Recruits will be making a difference in the lives of others
– as well as their own!”
