The Life Flight Trust transports a Patient from Mt Adams in the Wairarapa

At 11:20am this Morning the Life Flight Trust responded to Mt Adams in the Wairarapa to a 65yr old male who had become unwell while out Four wheel driving.
Life Flight responded with a Wellington Free Paramedic on board the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.
The Helicopter was unable to land on Mt Adams due to low cloud. The Patient was driven down to where the Helicopter was able to land next to the vehicle and uplift the Patient.
The patient was flown to Wellington Hospital Emergency Department where he is being treated.
The Life Flight Trust is a charity providing air rescue and air ambulance services. It operates the Wellington based Westpac Rescue Helicopter and a national air ambulance service.
