Alpine Aqualand And Element AvantiPlus Bike Winners Drawn

Element AvantiPlus and Alpine Aqualand have joined forces and given away the first two of four bikes for their Summer Swim & Slide promotion. Juliana Souza, 28, of Queenstown and James Muir, 3, of Hawea Flat, were the first lucky winners of an adult’s and child’s bikes respectively when the prizes were drawn by Frankton’s local Community Constable, Shona Campbell.

Lakes Leisure who operate Alpine Aqualand and Element AvantiPlus located in the Remarkables Park Town Centre, wanted to give something back to the local community and this was such a great opportunity, especially over the summer when swimming is such a popular family activity. Juliana was particularly excited about the win, stating “I never win anything!”

Alpine Aqualand’s new Aquatic Manager Sarah Clarke said “Element AvantiPlus has been extremely generous in providing us with four bikes. It’s lovely to be able to give people an incentive to come and enjoy the slide and it’s certainly proven to be very popular this summer which is great to see.”

The promotion continues until February 29 2012 and anyone who rides the hydroslide during that period is eligible for entry into the draw. The final draw to give away another child’s and adult’s bike respectively will be made on March 2.
