Events Centre gears up for the longest running Home & Garden
Show.
More than 13,000
people are expected to be wowed by stunning floral art
exhibitions, including a Japanese edible garden at this
year’s North Shore Home and Garden Show being held over
three days from March 23-25th.
This exhibition will feature the crème-de-la-crème of Auckland floral designers, many of whom have taken part in international competitions and they will be vying in the Open section for the coveted Auckland Designer of the Year Trophy for 2012, which will be announced at the show.
The nations love affair with home and garden alterations has seen exhibitor numbers maintained and designers are going all out to wow the crowds at this year’ s 17th annual show.
Jade Promotions Show Director Daniel Joll says there is something for everyone at this event. It only seems like yesterday we launched this show and I can’t believe we’ve been going now for seventeen years, every year it just gets better and better.
“I’m really excited about the Japanese Edible Garden, yet another new and innovative design from Planetearth’s Jules Moore called “Now and Zen.” This is tipped to be a real crowd pleaser!” said Mr Joll.
“The economic climate has certainly not deterred our exhibitors and research shows us that homeowners are still choosing to renovate their homes and spruce up their gardens. Getting expert advice under one roof from industry professionals on any potential renovation is crucial to making sure the alterations homeowners make can not only improve the home but increase its value,” he said.
Exhibitors are running competitions including winning a Vortex Spa worth $8,495.00, a unique Resene paint competition which will be fun for the whole family, a thousand dollars off the installation of Airfoam Wall Insulation to name just a few.
There will be free informative daily seminars from the industry experts and by popular demand the Dirt Doctor is back to speak on “Growing the soil that grows your garden,” this follows the current trend sweeping the country to grow your own produce.
The Show was set up to inspire, inform and leave homeowners brimming with ideas on what is possible and what they can do with confidence in their own homes.
The show is set at an affordable value with the entry fee for adults $8.00, senior citizens $4.00 and children under 16 years free.
The show is open Friday 23rd & Saturday 24th March 10am – 6pm and Sunday 25th March 10am -5pm.
