Saturn Watch Event At Levin Library
The Levin
Stargazers are co-hosting a Saturn Watch event at the Levin
Library on Saturday April 14th.
There is a daytime and a nighttime portion to this event, so you should be able to find a suitable time to participate.
During the day, Ron Fisher will be holding Cosmodome planetarium shows in the library from 10am-1pm, at a very reasonable cost of $2 per person. Shows run for about half an hour. We will start our evening event at 7pm with a free Saturn presentation by renowned Wellington astronomer, Frank Andrews, and more Cosmodome shows ($2 per person).
We will also have telescopes set up outside (weather permitting) for viewing Mars, initially, and then Saturn later in the evening as it rises higher in the sky.
All are welcome!
