State Highway 2 Otamarakau is now open
A section of State Highway at Otamarakau closed following a crash earlier this morning has now reopened.
NZ Transport Agency (NZTA) State Highway Manager, Brett Gliddon, says the road opened just after 2.00pm today.
Mr Gliddon says that separate detours were in place for light vehicles and heavy vehicles and there were no significant delays for motorists during the temporary closure of the route. “We'd like thank motorists for their patience while the road was being cleared.”
