Church Feeds Flood-Affected Families
Suva, Fiji —
"The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has assisted the government with relief items worth $55,000," according to a report in The Fiji Times.
The food and other relief items are being distributed to communities hit hard by flooding earlier this year.
The newspaper reports that "the assistance was sourced by members of the LDS Church worldwide, as part of its humanitarian assistance."

Management permanent secretary told The Fiji Times: "We want
to thank the LDS Church and its members for this kind
assistance."
