SH25 mine shaft hole - repairs now complete and the road reopened
Repairs to an old mine shaft hole on State Highway 25 at the north end of Thames township have now been completed and this section of the highway has now reopened.
New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) State Highway Manager, Kaye Clark, says the agency would like to thank people driving through the area and local residents along the detour route for their patience while these repairs were carried out.
