Local government reform submission period now closed in Upper Hutt
As of 5.00 pm, Upper Hutt City Council has officially closed its submission period for local government reform.
UPPER HUTT, Wellington NZ, 03 AUG 2012—Upper Hutt City Council’s submission period for local government reform is now officially closed as of 5.00 pm today. The period lasted over 8 weeks and was extended from a previous deadline of 20 July.
At 3.30 pm today, Council had received a total of 1,363 submissions—an increase of 346 on two weeks earlier. Council will be collating submissions and analysing statistics over the next few weeks.
