Two Lotto players who bought
tickets in Herne Bay, Auckland and Tairua will be
celebrating after a $500,000 windfall each with Lotto
tonight, said NZ Lotteries’ Chief Executive Wayne Pickup.
The winning tickets were sold at Ardmore Dairy,
Herne Bay in Auckland and at Tairua Lotto & Stationery in
the Coromandel.
Powerball has jackpotted this
week, and Powerball First Division will be worth an
estimated $5 million next weekend. Strike has also
jackpotted to $300,000.
Meanwhile, Christine from
Mt Maunganui won $200,000 on the Winning Wheel at the live
draw in Wellington this evening.
All Lotto
players are automatically in the draw to win the opportunity
to spin Lotto’s Winning Wheel, regardless of the type of
ticket they buy. Players can check their ticket at any
lottery outlet.
Tonight’s Winning Wheel ticket
was bought at Unsworth Heights Superette in Auckland. The
winning serial number is 567-33146414-20xx.
Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above
winning stores should write their name on the back of the
ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet.
