Bus Services Interruptions
NZ Bus, the Tramways Union and First Union announced that they have reached a proposed settlement for the Collective Employment Agreement covering bus drivers and service staff in Auckland. This proposed offer will be put to union members on Monday 17th September for ratification.
Metrolink, North Star, Go West, Waka Pacific and all LINK services will not operate between 10am and 2pm on Monday 17 September, to allow union members to attend this meeting.
Full services resumes from 2pm.
Dedicated school bus services will not be affected.
All other bus operators including; Ritchies, Northern Express, Birkenhead Transport, Bayes, Howick and Eastern, Airbus Express, Murphy and Urban Express services will be operating as normal.
Train and Ferry services will operate as normal.
NZ Bus wishes to apologise to customers for any inconvenience caused.
