The annual charity MEGA walk that will benefit youth cancer charity CanTeen Hawkes Bay is calling for volunteers to apply as Marshalls for the MEGA walk.
The event on Sunday 11 November is based around a 28km run or walk from Mitre 10 MEGA Hastings to Mitre 10 MEGA Napier with shorter options for all lifestyles and fitness levels available.
Marshalls are required along the route between the two stores to ensure participants safely cross roads and are continuing in the right direction. Volunteers are asked to help for a short time between 7.30am and midday.
With all proceeds assisting CanTeen’s Hawkes’s Bay branch, this is a great opportunity to support young people living with cancer in the local community.
