Market Update #4
October 26, 2012
For Immediate Release
Short-listed suppliers seeking to play a part in the Avon River Precinct and North and East Frames have now received a Request for Proposal (RFP).
The River Precinct and portions of the Frames are the first anchor projects to go to market from the Christchurch Central Recovery Plan released in July.
Project leaders, the Christchurch Central Development Unit (CCDU) and the Christchurch City Council (CCC), received 27 responses to the call for Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the projects across the three disciplines of design, project management and quantity surveying.
An assessment panel with representatives of the CCDU, CCC and Te Rūnanga o Ngai Tahu has short-listed the EOI responses from 27 to 11. These 11 respondents have been sent the RFP today.
Responses to the RFP are due back to the CCDU by Friday, 16 November.
