Gifted Kids Hutt Art Exhibition: Deeper Patterns
Gifted Kids Hutt Art Exhibition: Deeper
Patterns
Gifted Kids Hutt Unit, in conjunction with Hutt City Council, will be showcasing their art work at the “About Space” venue in Margaret Street this month.
The event named “Deeper Patterns” is an opportunity for students to create art works based on the theme patterns, which is in line with Gifted Kids curriculum of work.
“This year, we have been exploring patterns in class. Our work includes looking at where we can find patterns in the world, through art, science, history – in everything we do, where can we find patterns” Says Vicki Adam, Lead Teacher Gifted Kids Hutt.
“The art exhibition is an opportunity for students to examine patterns in art. The students were asked to really think about what it was they were producing and how it reflected the work we have been doing in class about patterns” Ms Adam continues.
“Our students are excited about the opportunity to show the community what we’re about and what they’ve been working on class and at home” Ms Adam.
