Wellingtonians Embrace Fashion In the Capital
Wellingtonians Embrace Fashion In the Capital
Wellington City has been treated to a fashion festival of unseen proportions over the last four days. Fashion shows and events have been embraced by Wellingtonians, with two sell-out fashion shows and another expected this evening, with the final designer collection showcase.
Retailers and designers have relished the opportunity to captivate audiences with vibrant colour, and consumers have arrived in droves to set their sights on the latest fashion available in store this season.
As the week draws to an end, Fashion in the Capital organisers are thrilled with the response from Wellington, outlining that the positive engagement is indicative of local support for the struggling sector.
"We are just so pleased with the turnout so far. Wellingtonians have really proven that Wellington fashion is an important part of our culture, and the support for designers has been phenomenal", Managing Director Cameron Sneddon Said.
The last remaining show takes place at 6pm this evening, featuring well-known labels Taylor, Moochi, STORM, Mandatory, Falvè and Jane Daniels.
Limited tickets are available to the final showcase from just $39.00 at www.fashioninthecapital.co.nz.
